Welcome

I am a Computer Science graduate from North South University and currently an Adjunct Lecturer at Southeast University, Dhaka, where I teach core undergraduate computer science courses to over 280 students. My research lies at the intersection of multi-modal learning, machine learning applications, and edge intelligence, with a focus on building lightweight and explainable AI systems that are deployable in real-world, resource-constrained environments. Much of my recent work is applied to assistive technology, particularly AI-driven navigation for the visually impaired and mobile diagnostic tools in healthcare.

I am currently expanding my research into open-world object detection with the goal of designing AI systems that are trustworthy and generalize beyond curated datasets, adapting to the complexity of varying environments.

• Mar 2025: Started a new position as an Adjunct Lecturer at Southeast University, Department of CSE.
• Mar 2025: One journal paper accepted in Array, Elsevier (IF 4.5).
• Dec 2024: Graduated with Summa Cum Laude (GPA 3.98/4.00) from North South University.
• Dec 2024: Won the Innovation Challenge Season 15 at North South University (Capstone Project Showcase).
• Dec 2024: One conference paper accepted at the 6th International Conference on Sustainable Technologies for Industry 5.0 (STI).
• Sept 2024: Started a new position as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at North South University, Department of ECE.
• Sept 2024: One journal paper accepted in Journal of King Saud University – Computer and Information Sciences, Elsevier (IF 6.1).
• Feb 2024: Started a new position as a Research Assistant under Md. Ishan Arefin Hossain at North South University.
